I'm learning 12 Gregorian Chants. Here are the first two. I am including both the original Latin along with English translations.
Regina Caeli laetare. Alleieuiah.
Quia quem meuristi portare. Alleieuiah.
Resurrexit sicut dixit. Alleieuiah.
Ora pronobis Deum. Alleieuiah.
Queen of Heaven, Rejoice, for He whom thou didst merit to bear, hath risen, even as He said. Pray to God for us.
Ave, Maria, gratia plena. Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et benedictus fructus ventris tui Iesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei.
Ora pronobis peccatoribus.
Nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
Hail, Mary, full of Grace. God is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God,
Pray for us sinners
Now, and in the hour of our death. Amen.
